"Robbery" actions. Firm words about attack on Iran

The Israeli strike on Iran was very effective - stated Tomasz Bocheński in the program "Debata Gozdyry" on Polsat News. Confederation politician Dobromir Sośnierz assessed that Israel "is committing robbery activities". Politicians and experts discussed the escalation of the conflict in the Middle East in Agnieszka Gozdyra's program.

Air raid sirens wailed in many Israeli cities Friday evening as hundreds of ballistic missiles were fired in retaliation for earlier Israeli attacks on Iran that killed top military commanders.

The famous Iron Dome , Israel's air defense system, failed to intercept all the missiles.

Politicians and experts invited to the Polsat News program "Debata Gozdyra" discussed the situation in the Middle East.

Confederation politician Dobromir Sośnierz described Israel's actions in the region as "robbery". - It seems to me that the United States' policy on this point is deeply wrong towards Israel, guaranteeing protection to this country in a situation where it engages in robbery - said the former MEP.

Tobiasz Bocheński of PiS pointed out that from a military point of view, the Israeli strike was executed perfectly. He noted, however, that attacking civilian facilities by both sides should not be acceptable.

- The strike was very effective , requiring intelligence knowledge. Generals and scientists were killed (...), but murdering civilians, regardless of who is responsible, is barbaric, a crime that should be prosecuted and condemned - said the former candidate for mayor of Warsaw.

KO MP Grzegorz Napieralski stated that it is necessary to consider the possible consequences of the outbreak of this conflict for our region.

- We should all think about what might happen next and what consequences it might have for Europe and especially for us - he explained.

- First of all, I think about Polish citizens who are in Israel and Iran. I know that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is in control of the situation and is establishing contact with all the people who are there. This is out of concern for the safety of Polish missions and employees. This is a key challenge from the Polish point of view at this time - said Deputy Minister of Family, Labor and Social Policy Sebastian Gajewski.

The second part of the program featured experts on the Middle East, who pointed out that both countries had been preparing for the conflict for a long time.

- Both countries have been preparing for the confrontation for a very long time. They have used very different methods, often far from international law. At the moment, the confrontation has taken place. I cannot predict how it will end. Israel has also been preparing for this conflict for many years , and it has also used the opportunity to deal with its former enemy - said Krzysztof Płomiński, former ambassador to Iraq and Saudi Arabia.

- Preparing such an attack is months of planning and intelligence work. The attack was carried out with great precision . Some of the victims, Iranian scientists, died in their own homes. The missiles and drones were guided with great precision, to a specific room. Unraveling the Iranian officials is an incredible success of the Israeli services, which most likely kept the whole operation a secret until the very end, possibly informing the US - said Marcin Krzyżanowski, an orientalist from the Jagiellonian University.
